Welcome / Bienvenue!

Welcome to École Christine Morrison Elementary. We are a dual track public school offering early French Immersion and regular English programs to a population of more than 464 students in grades kindergarten to six, in Mission, British Columbia Canada.

We take pride in our vibrant inclusive school culture. Our dedicated and caring staff provides many opportunities for students to be successful academically. We have programs in place to meet the needs of all students, and we have a school improvement plan in which we have set goals for improvement in specific areas of student achievement.

Mission public schools will be ready to welcome students on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22nd for a HALF day as follows:

Elementary: 8:30 - 11:00 am; Hatzic Elementary: 8:45 - 11:00 am

Middle/Secondary: 8:50 - 11:30 am

The school year will then commence as it normally would in early September with regular hours of instruction.

Students will be organized by grade level and language on Monday morning. This will give us the opportunity to know the number of students in each grade level. A short assembly introducing new staff and review of behaviour expectations will take place. Teachers will meet to finalize permanent class lists on the afternoon of September 22nd. Class lists will be posted on bulletin boards outside the front doors of the school and on classroom windows Tuesday morning. Students will report to their new classrooms at 8:30 on Tuesday, September 23rd.

To all Mission District 75 Parents and Students

Each year DPAC sends out a "Satisfaction Survey" to parents and students to get feedback of how our district is performing. The more participation we get, the more we understand how parents and students are experiencing education here. Your feedback gives us direction to advocate for what parents really want rather than the squeaky wheel always getting the grease. PLEASE, if you are a parent or a senior student, take 10 minutes out of your day and tell us what you really think.

If you are an elementary parent, talk to your child while doing the survey

If you are a Middle school parent. do the survey with your child

If you are a senior student, do the survey on your own or with your parent.

Your participation is appreciated.

When we speak together we can have a profound influence on our school district.
