Welcome to Ècole Christine Morrison Elementary. We are a dual track public school offering early French Immersion and regular English programs to a population of more than 450 students in grades kindergarten to six, in Mission, British Columbia Canada.

We take pride in our vibrant inclusive school culture. Our dedicated and caring staff provides many opportunities for students to be successful academically. We have programs in place to meet the needs of all students, and we have a school improvement plan in which we have set goals for improvement in specific areas of student achievement.

Mission Public Schools Bus Transportation Registration 2012-13

Families are advised that registration of students who will be seeking bus transportation in the 2012-13 school year will run from March 26 through June 15, 2012. In order to ride a school district bus all new and returning riders must register. School District policy applies to all applications and can be viewed on the Mission Public Schools webpage at www.mpsd.ca . Students that qualify to use transportation services but who have not registered by June 15 will not be guaranteed a seat on a bus. Registration must be done in person at the School District Office at 33046 Fourth Avenue or at the School District Transportation Department located at 7152 Horne Street.

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for the school year 2012-2013 will take place starting at 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM on January 30th through to February 3rd, 2012. Parents are required to register their child at their neighbourhood school. Children who turned 5 years of age by December 31, 2012 are eligible for Kindergarten. Please bring proof of age (Birth Certificate orBaptismal Certificate) and immunization record. For more information click here

Strong Start Hours

Our Strong Start Centre has a new room, and new hours! Parents of preschool aged children are welcome to bring their youngsters to Strong Start at Ècole Christine Morrison Elementary, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 - 11:30, and Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00 - 3:00.
